I am part of a team responsible for coordination of EPIC’s response in an animal disease emergency, provision of epidemiological advice for contingency planning and animal disease preparedness and, facilitation of communication and knowledge exchange activities between EPIC researchers, Scottish government policy-makers and other Scottish Government partners and stakeholders.

For an overview of the work we do to communicate science to policy-makers, have a look at this prezi on  Creating policy impact through a Centre of Expertise or have a look at our paper on Working at the Science Policy Interface.
